A blind bought Chic as I liked the scent profile and had recently added some other Carolina Herrera fragrances to my collection (212 Men / 212 Sexy Men).

I am fairly adamant in saying that Carolina Herrera has a great range of masculine fragrances on offer. There's a touch of pepper and cardamom, cedar and tonka bean lending some sophistication and Chic has a gentle musky base. The peppers in this would make it a bit difficult to pull this off in the hot Summers of Houston here. Third time, I had applied it around 2pm and went to work got some compliments but it doesn’t stop there I got off work around 1am and afterwards went to hangout with my ex and she said this is the sexiest cologne she had smelled on me! Overall I give this an 8/10, I think it's underrated, and if it lasted longer it would probably be in my top 5.A safe option for office wear or casual occasions, day or night, mostly for mild weather in my opinion. It smells better in small amount, the body product like deodorant stick smells better than the EDT - much cleaner smelling. The watermelon, the feature of this scent in my opinion, is not authentic but it's pleasant nonetheless. Some people say that it looks like 212 or blue de Chanel, that may be a little true, but I find it more beautiful than its all. Overall a nice fragrance I plan on wearing in warm (but not super hot) weather this summer and fall.

Unfortunately, it seems that it doesn't last long enough, at least on my skin , but I found it stick better on clothes , projection is so weak . The spicy-cinnamon aspect could be the black pepper oil x cardamom seed oil, and simply the rosey-spicy Citronellol touch. Carolina Herrera's scents follow the same style as her fashion - refined, international and above all classic without extra flash or bobbles.It begins with notes of watermelon, crisp citruses and cardamom and gets warmer with cinnamon and pepper. There’s a little bit of that old Uomo in Chic, though—not a lot by any means, mind, but just enough to make me smile. I find similar to the Argentine PRUNE II Coming back to the previous thought, I add CH for men 1st, and 212, to the true great CH creations. Even though it may have been reformulated it’s still a pleasant fragrance with great sillage and longevity. I got about 7 hours of longevity and 2-3 hours of good projection with 4 sprays (2 to neck, 1 chest, 1 clothing).Herrera I need an intense/eau de parfum version of this, not another summer/surf/on ice/whatever… version of 212. Seriously, it smells like you're in a watermelon field with a freshly cut watermelon in front of you. The difference though is this has less of that "salty" or "lemony" feel of the previous ones and is softer, more "clean" type of scent.

I'm sure if you'd spray a few more times everyone would think you're the weird "cologne guy" The melon transitions nicely into this sweet pepper wood smell. Its not a scent you would wear if you want to make a serious statement but on those casual days above 55 degrees this frag works. one with dark colour of each side, and the other one with only tranparent colour bottle (with black atomizer pipe. The violet/violet leaf accord which is in the DNA of every CH fragrance finds its place here as well, though not mentioned in the notes.In the opening the main notes you'll notice are orange and lemon giving it a cheap aftershave smell with the heavy alcohol.
