About the only downside is that the arms cannot be altered for height. However, had I two monitors of the same make and size this would not be a problem. As it is my two monitors are from different manufacturers and are slightly different in size. There is no other downside in my opinion. Now, both monitors are off my desktop, giving me the ability to tidy up the mess and with each arm being fully independent in terms of angle, horizontally and vertically, my viewing experience is so much better.
